Edgewood Partners Hires Staff For New Wind And Energy Group

San Mateo, Calif.-based Edgewood Partners Insurance Center (EPIC) has hired Mike M. McMullen as vice president, Penny L. Crowder as vice president and Cindy K. Henry as account executive for the company's Wind & Energy Group.

Combined, McMullen, Crowder and Henry contribute many years of experience to the insurance business, according to EPIC. Prior to joining EPIC, all three were employed by Union Banc Insurance Services in the energy and construction division.

McMullen's 17 years with construction, energy and the insurance brokerage business began in 1989 at Williams Boots and Coots, a Texas-based oil field and refinery fire fighting company. He has worked for AON's construction services group and Jardine Lloyd Thompson LLC.


Crowder's insurance career began in 1982 at Harrison & Associate, an agency that specialized in transportation and garage liability programs. Crowder work for Willis' construction division for eight years, followed by 12 years with AON in its construction services group.

Henry began her career in 1983 at GGS Insurance Services, specializing in manufacturing and construction risks. In 1991, she joined AON Risk Services, focusing on renewable energy and construction accounts before moving to World Link Insurance Services. At World Link, Henry was responsible for sales and service for a large book of renewable energy developers and operators.
