E.ON has announced a couple executive changes within its businesses: Michael Lewis has been named CEO of E.ON U.K., Marc Hoffman will become CEO of customer solutions and country chairman for Sweden, and Anja Dotzenrath has been appointed CEO of E.ON Climate & Renewables.
As new CEO of E.ON U.K. (effective April 10), Lewis will succeed Tony Cocker, who has decided to retire from E.ON to pursue a portfolio career at the end of July. Cocker has worked for E.ON for over 20 years and has been the company’s U.K. CEO since September 2011. Lewis, who has been CEO of E.ON Climate & Renewables since 2015, joined E.ON in the U.K. in 1993 and has played an instrumental role in expanding E.ON’s renewables business, the company says.
Hoffmann, currently senior vice president for group accounting and controlling at E.ON’s headquarters in Essen, Germany, will assume his new role on April 1. Prior to his current position, he was the company’s chief financial officer in Sweden for four years.
Dotzenrath, currently chief operating officer of E.ON Climate & Renewables, will become its CEO on April 10. Dotzenrath joined E.ON in 2011 as managing director of E.ON’s in-house consulting after a wide-ranging career in the energy and chemical industry and management consulting, the company says.
