Ventus, a Dallas-headquartered provider of drone inspection services, has entered into a joint wind turbine blade repair program with Renewables Civil & Maintenance (RCM), based in West Yorkshire in the U.K.
In the U.K., Spain and other regions of Europe, RCM currently performs drone inspections, as well as up-tower rotor blade repairs using 100-meter boom cranes fitted with a man basket.
Ventus, a recently formed joint venture of Ventus Wind and Texas Aerial Solutions, will be offering RCM's same blade repair services in North America.
