The PowerMod Micro-Grid Power Distribution System features direct solid-state switching and includes a DC power supply, DC cable and down converter for providing alternate current or DC power at the load end point, according to the company.
Providing constant 10 kV DC transmission at up to hundreds of kilometers for wind turbines and solar power generators, the distribution system uses PowerMod high voltage solid-state switch modules, according to the company.
