GreenHunter Wind Energy LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of GreenHunter Energy Inc., has hired Don L. Dison as vice president of engineering and construction. Dison will report directly to Stephen A. Wiley.
Dison was previously employed at Gamesa Energy USA, where he was responsible for wind energy project construction for the company's southwest division. Most recently, he was responsible for the successful construction of the first phase of the 120 MW Barton Chapel Wind Project in Jack County, Texas.
Prior to his tenure at Gamesa, Dison worked as vice president of business development for the Winters Corp., an engineering firm in the mining industry. Dison has a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Houston.
‘As we begin to take delivery and deploy the Chinese manufactured MingYang Wind Power turbines in the U.S., Don will be instrumental in overseeing the engineering and construction development of our company's existing portfolio of wind energy projects,’ says Gary C. Evans, chairman and CEO of GreenHunter Energy.
