Minneapolis-based SRF Consulting Group Inc. has hired David Brunsvold to work as the company's new energy development services manager. SRF provides engineering, real estate and environmental planning services.
Brunsvold is working with SRF's clients to identify project needs and match them with the firm's technical expertise. He has worked for two major wind developers as a project manager on utility-scale wind farm sites in the Upper Midwest.
In addition to working on typical landowner relations and local governmental issues, as a prior Air Force aviator, Brunsvold has experience with resolving military/Federal Aviation Administration impacts related to the permitting process.
