Irvine, Calif.-based Composite Technology Corp. (CTC) has announced that Robert C. Rugh has been promoted to president of DeWind Inc., a subsidiary of CTC. Previously, Rugh served as DeWind's executive vice president of operations under Marvin Sepe, who will remain CTC's chief operating officer and will oversee both DeWind and CTC Cable business subsidiaries.
Rugh is a seasoned executive with extensive knowledge and experience in the wind turbine business, including commercial, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing and site operations. Prior to joining DeWind, Rugh served as vice president of Mitsubishi Power Systems Americas' wind turbine group.
Rugh has a master's degree in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
