Cooper Power Systems has introduced its 33 kV and 36 kV DirectConnect elbow arrester product lines, which are designed to cut installation time by replacing three separate components: the bushing extender, load-break reducing tap plug, and 200 A elbow arrester.
The company has also released a portfolio of elbow arresters with high temporary over-voltage characteristics. These enhancements to the 33 kV and 36 kV elbow arresters deliver higher levels of protection to collector systems, Cooper Power Systems adds.
