Colorado Governor Adds Energy Experts To Staff

Gov. Bill Ritter, D-Colo., has added several energy experts to the Governor's Energy Office (GEO) to support initiatives for developing his New Energy Economy.

The staff members joining the GEO include Angie Fyfe, greening government program manager; Jeff Lyng, commercial/institutional buildings program manager; Jennifer Hampton, communications program associate; Susan Jarvinen, director's administrative assistant and office manager; Morey Wolfson, utilities program manager; Seth Portner, deputy director; Eric Stern, residential buildings program manager; Sean Mandel, program associate, buildings; and Stacey Simms, biofuels and local fuels program manager.

According to the governor's office, these new staff members will help develop programs to promote high-performance buildings for commercial and residential markets, make state government more energy-efficient, work in cooperation with Colorado's utilities, and promote technology transfer and economic development.
