Catch the Wind Ltd., developer and manufacturer of the Vindicator laser wind sensor and other wind sensor products, has named Robin Roge interim chief financial officer (CFO), succeeding David Samuels.
Roge has more than 25 years of accounting and financial reporting experience, working with a number of public and private companies. Since 2009, she has served as director of accounting for Catch the Wind. Roge will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations and reporting for the company until a permanent replacement is hired.
Chris Lowe, who was recently appointed as an independent director of Catch the Wind and serves as chairman of the audit committee, will provide oversight of the company's financial activities. Lowe, a senior financial executive with more than 17 years of experience in the investment banking and energy sectors, currently serves as CFO for Noble Environmental Power.
In connection with the management change, Catch the Wind has retained the services of an independent financial advisor, who will provide counsel to Roge and drive the company's funding and capital markets initiatives.
