Canadian Hydro Announces Resignation Of Chief Operating Officer

Canadian Hydro Developers announces that K. James Urquhart will leave his position as chief operating officer (COO) of the company, effective March 31, to pursue other opportunities.

With Urquhart's resignation, Ross Keating, one of the founders and current president of operations and development, will act as interim COO while the company conducts an executive search to fill this role.

‘While disappointed, we support Jamie in this difficult choice and wish him well,’ says John Keating, CEO.


During the months that Urquhart worked with Canadian Hydro, he brought value through his solid leadership and management skills and disciplined approach to project development.

Urquart worked with senior management to assist Canadian Hydro in executing on its large construction projects at Melancthon and Wolfe Island, according to the company.
