Cleveland-based Bud Industries, a manufacturer of electronics enclosures, is now making its enclosure products available for original equipment manufacturers and operators of renewable energy equipment, including solar panels and wind turbines.
According to the company, enclosures house the electronics that regulate the speed of the turning blades of wind turbines. Because these controls are critical to safety and efficient power generation, the enclosures are made of steel and sealed against moisture.
Enclosures can include cabinet racks, NEMA boxes, server racks and plastic boxes.
