Illinois-based Broadwind Energy has announced $39 million of new wind turbine tower and fabrication orders.
The products will be made at the company’s Manitowoc, Wis., and Abilene, Texas, facilities. The orders are scheduled for delivery in 2019 and 2020.
“We are encouraged by our progress to date securing orders that will support a robust 2020 installation schedule,” comments Stephanie Kushner, president and CEO of Broadwind. “The fabrication order, which supports a wind energy repowering project, is further diversification of our customer and product base.”
