Bennett Motor Express (BME), a specialized freight transporter based in McDonough, Ga., has promoted Rick Gann as director of operations for the government and aerospace division and Bob Moody as director of freight operations.
In his new role, Gann will oversee transportation and logistics delivery to military, government and Department of Defense customers. Gann joined BME in August 1987 and has held numerous leadership positions throughout the company. Prior to his recent promotion, Gann served as freight operations manager with BME.
Moody replaces Gann as manager of freight operations, where he will supervise dispatchers for BME's specialized open-bed division. He most recently served as BME's customer care department manager and has held several customer relations positions throughout the company.
