Clinton Township, Mich.-based AmeriChip International Inc. (ACII), a company that provides dry machining parts to industries such as wind, heavy equipment and automotive, has appointed John Rehfeld to its board of advisors.
Rehfeld is an independent board of directors member with 30 years of software, content and hardware experience in the PC, digital imaging and multi-media industries.
According to ACII, Rehfeld has a strong record in launching and commercializing technical innovations through third party distribution channels into the business and consumer markets. He was an outside board member at four public companies and 12 private companies and was involved actively in the sale of six of these companies.
Rehfeld began his career in systems engineering at IBM, and subsequently earned a Harvard MBA.
