AmeriChip International Inc. has appointed William M. Donovan to the company's board of directors, effective immediately.
The appointment of Donovan is commensurate with AmeriChip's commitment to becoming NASDAQ compliant, especially with the NASDAQ stock market rule that requires a company's board to consist of a majority of independent directors.
Donovan has served as general counsel for AmeriChip International since 2006 and has been admitted to the State Bar of Michigan. He is licensed to appear before the U.S. Tax Court, U.S. Court of Appeals – 2nd and 6th Circuits, U.S. Court of Appeals, Federal Circuit; and U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan and Western District of Michigan.
Donovan has garnered extensive experience as a corporate and trial litigator with more than 30 years of experience. Donovan and his firm, the Donovan Law Group, have represented public and private companies in a variety of negotiated transactions.
