New Altech corrugated tubes, which offer protection for cables against impact and abrasion in wind turbine applications, have been specially engineered to promote flexibility and extended fatigue life. The tubes can be paired with straight or 90-degree tube connectors and seals and O-rings to provide complete solutions for demanding installations, according to the company.
The polyamide corrugated tubes are available in 15 different sizes with inner dimensions ranging from 2.8 mm up to 47.7 mm. They can be supplied as standard tubes or with a lateral slit. All versions are flame-retardant according to DIN 75200 and UL standards.
The RoHS-compliant tubes are protection-rated to IP65 (without sealing) or IP68 (with O-ring) and can perform reliably in temperatures ranging from -40 degrees C to 120 degrees C and for short-term applications up to 150 degrees C.
