St. Paul, Minn.-based WindLogics has announced that it now manages data for over 700 meteorological towers in support of the wind industry. These met towers are managed using the company's OnSite Data Management Services.
The recently introduced OnSite includes automated tower-status reports and the Web-enabled AssetManager and DataViewer user interfaces. Tower-status reports are delivered to OnSite customers via e-mail and are used to identify sensor or tower malfunctions in early stages, when corrective action can still be taken, the company says.
AssetManager allows customers to enter or view tower information such as configurations, locations, photographs and maintenance history. DataViewer provides access to data gathered from the towers. Data from single or multiple towers can be viewed and compared for different variables in a variety of formats, according to WindLogics.
