Fred. Olsen Windcarrier AS, which is indirectly owned by Bonheur ASA and Ganger Rolf ASA, says it has been awarded a contract by the German utility EWE for the installation of 30 wind turbines and associated equipment at the Riffgat offshore wind farm in German territorial waters.

The contract commences in March 2013 and is anticipated to take 90 days. The work will be performed using the ‘Brave Tern’ or ‘Bold Tern’ installation vessels, which are both under construction at the Lamprell shipyard in Dubai.
