Illinois-based utility Constellation, a subsidiary of Exelon Corp., has announced that it will donate renewable energy credits (RECs) generated by wind, solar and other renewable energy facilities to offset the electricity used at the matchup between the Chicago White Sox and the New York Yankees on Aug. 21.

The effort is part of a Chicago White Sox environmental initiative that allows for such ‘green games,’ which are held on an annual basis.
