White Construction Subsidiary Lands EPC Deal For 99 MW Wind Farm

H.B. White Canada Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of White Construction Inc., has been selected by IPR-GDF SUEZ North America to be the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for the 99 MW East Lake St. Clair wind farm.

The project, located in the municipality of Chatham-Kent on the eastern shoreline of Lake St. Clair in Ontario, spans 6,800 acres and will consist of 55 Vestas V-90 1.8 MW turbines.

As the EPC contractor, H.B. White Canada will construct all of the access roads, make the necessary modifications to existing public roads, design and build all of the foundations and collection systems, and erect the wind turbines.
