Coquitlam, British Columbia-headquartered Western Wind Energy has negotiated a non-brokered private placement of 2 million units at a price of C$1.40 per unit.
Each unit comprises one common share and one half-share purchase warrant, the company says, and each warrant entitles the holder to purchase one additional common share for a period of two years at a price of C$1.75 per share.
Western Wind Energy plans to use the proceeds of the private placement for development of its projects.
