Vestas has received an order from Fujian Funeng New Energy Co. Ltd. for the supply, installation and commissioning of 24 V90-2.0 MW wind turbines.
Vestas expects the 48 MW Shitang wind farm, located in China's Fujian province, will be completed by the fourth quarter.
Fujian Funeng New Energy has purchased 172 MW-worth of orders on five other wind farms since 2009, the turbine maker notes.
