Vestas will supply 75 V100-2.0 MW turbines for EDF Renewable Energy's (EDF RE) Salt Fork wind power plant, located in Donley and Gray counties, Texas.
According to Vestas, the order is first under the manufacturer's December 2014 agreement with EDF RE.
The contract includes the supply and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a three-year service agreement designed to maximize energy production.
Installation and commissioning of the turbines is expected in late 2016.
