BayWa r.e. has tapped Vestas to deliver, install and commission nine V112-3.3 MW wind turbines for a wind farm, located in Bridlington, U.K.
The 29.7 MW wind farm will be complete by the fourth quarter of this year, notes Vestas, adding the contract contains a 15-year service agreement.
According to Vestas, the order marks the first time the company's V112-3.3 MW turbine will be used for the U.K. market.
