Vestas says it has received a 55 MW order from Parco Eolico Orta Nova SRL, a special-purpose company of Inergia SPA, to supply 21 of its V100-2.6 MW wind turbines for a project in the Apulia region of Italy.
The contract comprises the supply and installation of the turbines, a VestasOnline Business SCADA system, and a 15-year service and maintenance agreement.
Delivery of the first turbines is expected to start in the fourth quarter, and the project is scheduled to be operational by the end of the year.
