Vestas says it will transfer all of the employees currently working at its facilities in Randers and Copenhagen to the company's Aarhus, Denmark, headquarters. The company will keep its warehouse at Langelandsvej in Randers.
The move is part of the wind turbine manufacturer's plan to cut costs following the company's lackluster earnings results.
Vestas says the action is expected to reduce the company's fixed costs by about 400 million euros by the end of the year. The employees will be transferred as of July 1.
