Vestas has signed a 15-year renewal of a 150 MW service agreement with EverPower for a wind project in California.
The service agreement includes 50 V90-3.0 MW wind turbines at the 150 MW Mustang Hills project, which is owned by EverPower.
The project has been under Vestas’ service since it was commissioned in 2012. Now, under the new agreement, the project, which has an expected 20-year life span, will remain under Vestas’ care until 2032.
“EverPower looks forward to continuing our relationship with Vestas through this 15-year, full-service agreement,” comments Andrew Golembeski, chief operating officer of EverPower. “The extended agreement ensures stability of operating costs and comfort that our asset will be serviced and maintained to the highest standards.”
Vestas has more than 73 GW of wind turbines under long-term service agreements globally; this includes 24.5 GW in North America.
