Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order for 98 MW in North America from an unnamed customer.
The turbine maker says the customer has requested to keep its name, project and turbine type undisclosed. However, Vestas explains that the order includes the supply and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a 15-year Active Output Management (AOM 5000) service agreement. Deliveries for the project are expected in late 2014, with commissioning expected in early 2015.
