Vestas has received an order from IMPAX Asset Management for the 36 MW Glanaruddery wind farm, located in County Kerry, Ireland.
The deal includes delivery, installation and commissioning of 11 of the company’s V112-3.3 MW wind turbines, as well as a 12-year Active Output Management 5000 service agreement.
“This is our fifth project in partnership with Vestas, and we are happy to build on our strong relationship with them,” says Victor Juttmann, director of IMPAX Asset Management. “The V112-3.3 MW turbine meets the stringent local requirements, and we believe that it is the most suitable turbine for the wind resources at this particular site.”
Delivery and installation are expected in the third quarter of this year, with commissioning expected in the fourth quarter.
