Vestas has received a 201 MW order from EDF Renewable Energy in the U.S. At the customer's request, the turbine maker has not disclosed the project's name or specific location.
Vestas says the order comprises 51 of its V100-2.0 MW turbines and 30 of its V117-3.3 MW models. The contract includes supply and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a three-year Active Output Management 5000 service agreement.
Turbine delivery is planned to begin in the third quarter of 2016, with commissioning expected in the fourth quarter of 2016.
