Vestas Secures 15-Year Service Agreement In Romania

0

Vestas has secured a 15-year service contract covering 42 V90-2.0 MW turbines at the Topolog Dorobantu wind power plant, located in Tulcea County, Romania. The company says the 84 MW agreement has an option for up to 150 MW.

LUKERG Renew, a joint venture between ERG Renew and LUKOIL, placed the order, and Vestas expects the last of the 42 turbines to be installed in April. The agreement is based on Vestas' Active Output Management (AOM) 5000, which the company says offers an energy-based availability guarantee. This service option includes the VestasOnline surveillance system that remotely controls and monitors the turbines. Vestas notes Topolog Dorobantu will be the first project in Romania using this new service platform.
