Vestas has received an unconditional order for 21 MW from Vindkraft Ukraina LLC for its wind power plants Beregovaya and Stavki in the Kherson region. Vindkraft and Vestas previously commissioned the 9 MW Novorossiske wind power plant.
The wind power plants – with a total capacity of 21 MW – will contribute to Ukraine's goal of increasing the country's wind energy capacities. The wind power plants Beregovaya and Stavki will produce more than 70 GWh per year.
The contract includes the supply, installation and commissioning of seven V112-3MW wind turbines, along with a VestasOnline Business SCADA system. Delivery is planned to start at the end of the third quarter with commissioning expected to be completed by the end of the year.
