Vestas has received an order for the delivery of 58 1.8 MW turbines for a 104 MW project in Canada. The contract includes delivery and commissioning, along with a 10-year service and maintenance agreement. Delivery is scheduled for mid-2012, and commissioning is expected in fall 2012.
Vestas' manufacturing facilities in Colorado will produce all of the blades and nacelles for this project. The project name and details about the customer cannot be disclosed, according to the company.
