Vestas has won a 42 MW order from ERG Renew for a wind power project in the province of Radziejow, Poland.
The contract includes the supply, installation and commissioning of 21 V90-2.0 MW turbines, along with a VestasOnline Business SCADA solution. Turbine delivery is slated for the second quarter of 2015, and commissioning is expected in the third quarter of that year.
Earlier this week, Vestas also announced a separate Polish order from EDF Energies Nouvelles to supply turbines for a 58 MW wind farm. To date, Vestas says it has delivered about 540 wind turbines, totaling more than 1.1 GW, in Poland.
