Vestas has officially opened its representative office in Brussels, Belgium, in order to improve the company's representation with European Union (EU) stakeholders and lawmakers.
The new office is headed by Emmanuelle Raoult, director of EU affairs for Vestas, with support from Vestas Group Government Relations, which is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The office will allow for more effective communication, quicker response time to the changing legislative landscape, and strengthened relationships with Vestas' customers and legislative stakeholders, according to the company.
