Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order from an undisclosed U.S. customer for 348 MW of wind turbines.
Under the contract, Vestas will provide 174 of its V110-2.0 MW turbines. The nacelles, blades and towers will be produced at the company’s Colorado factories.
The contract includes supply and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a multiyear AOM 4000 service agreement.
Vestas expects delivery of the turbines to begin in the first quarter of 2018 and commissioning in the fourth quarter of 2018.
