Vestas has signed a contract with Inner Mongolia Huitong Energy Zhuozi Wind Power Company Ltd. to provide 26 V80-2.0 MW turbines for a wind farm, located in the Wulanchabu area of Inner Mongolia.
According to Vestas, the wind farm is an expansion at the existing 48 MW Bayinzile wind farm. The contract includes supply, erection, supervision and commissioning of the wind turbines, a VestasOnline Business SCADA system and a two-year service and maintenance agreement. Delivery of the turbines is expected during the third quarter of 2015.
Having achieved favorable performance results during the initial warranty period, Huitong renewed the service agreement with Vestas in 2013, for another two-year period, Vestas notes.
