Vestas has extended a long-term service contract with an unidentified Spanish wind developer to maintain six projects for the remainder of their expected lifetime.
The developer extended a full-scope Active Output Management 4000 service contract with Vestas, which will operate and maintain the Spanish projects, totaling 268 MW of capacity.
“We’re extremely pleased that this valued customer has decided to renew their service agreement for the six wind parks,” comments Marco Graziano, president of Vestas Mediterranean. “This is a very significant agreement echoing the momentum that Vestas’ service business is experiencing through creating tailor-made service solutions to meet our customers’ specific needs of optimizing energy output, minimizing downtime and extending turbine lifetime.”
