Vermont's Agency of Natural Resources has ordered a stop to all construction work on Green Mountain Power's (GMP) Lowell Mountain wind project, citing possible environmental violations, the Boston Globe reports.
According to the Globe, which cited Natural Resources Secretary Deb Markowitz, storm runoff was to blame for the construction halt. GMP spokesperson Dorothy Schnure told the Boston Globe that the company is working on a drainage system to combat the issue.
