Verbal Ink Offsets Electricity Usage With Wind Energy Credits

0

VerbalInk.com, a provider of transcription services, plans to offset its electricity usage annually, starting with a recent purchase of wind-generated renewable energy credits from Renewable Choice Energy. The purchase equals 100% of the company's 58,000 kWh of electricity usage last year. The environmental impact of this commitment is similar to that of planting over 250 trees every year.

‘In an era of climate change and energy sustainability concerns, our commitment to renewable energy projects reduces our environmental impact, promotes cleaner air, and reduces dependency on fossil fuels,’ says J.R. Wurster, founder and CEO of Verbal Ink. ‘It also encourages the development of renewable energy companies here in the United States, ultimately leading to more jobs and innovation at home.’
