TUV Rheinland has certified Winergy's HybridDrive wind turbine system, which consists of a gearbox and generator, according to the GL2010 Guideline.
‘The HybridDrive system has been tested and certified according to fundamental manufacturing and design specifications, enabling our client to save time and effort during the type certification process,’ says Matthias Deicke, Winergy project manager.
TUV Rheinland notes that the certification process was implemented shortly after Winergy's HybridDrive successfully completed all system-level prototype verifications in 2012.
