Iberdrola Renewables announced a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the City of Bryan in Texas through its electric utility, Bryan Texas Utilities.
The City of Bryan will purchase 30 MW from Iberdrola Renewables' Penascal 2 wind project for 15 years.
The 202 MW Penascal 2 project in Kenedy County, Texas, was placed in service in February. Power deliveries to the City of Bryan will begin on Jan. 1, 2011.
