Suzlon has signed an agreement to provide three years of health and safety services to EverPower Wind Holdings.
According to Suzlon, the company will provide training to implement health and safety procedures, job hazard analysis and a compliance management system. The contract also includes site assessments and site audits.
The agreement covers six sites and more than 750 MW of installed capacity. Although some EverPower sites are powered by Suzlon (and its subsidiary Senvion), the contract also includes sites powered by Nordex, Gamesa and Vestas turbines.
According to the American Wind Energy Association's annual survey of safety statistics, Suzlon Wind Energy Corp. is recognized as a safety leader in the wind industry and one of the top safety-performing wind companies.
