Suzlon Wind Energy Corp., the North American subsidiary of Suzlon Group, says it will provide 57 of its S97-2.1 MW wind turbines for a large wind energy project located in the western U.S.
Procurement and manufacturing commenced immediately on contract execution, and roadwork and foundation construction will begin in the second quarter of this year. Delivery of the Suzlon wind turbines is expected to occur in the third quarter, with construction of the wind turbines slated for soon after the first turbines arrive on site.
