Suzlon Group's North American subsidiary, Suzlon Wind Energy Corp. (SWECO), has announced the production of its 25th TWh of power from its U.S. and Canadian fleet. The North American fleet comprises a total of 1,363 wind turbines at over 70 projects, representing 2,677 MW.
‘We are extremely proud of the incredible contributions Suzlon's team and its wind power plants have made to regional economies and the environment over the last decade,’ says Duncan Koerbel, CEO of SWECO and global chief technology officer.
"Through strong partnerships with our customers, wind developers and supporting communities, we have made enormous contributions in offsetting carbon dioxide, eliminating the use of water in power production and supporting economic development in rural areas that often need a boost," Koerbel continues.
