Renewable energy and alternative fuel projects are dominating industrial project starts planned for the fourth quarter of this year in the U.S. Midwest, according to data released by market research firm Industrial Info Resources.
Of the more than $8.1 billion in projects planned to kick off in the quarter, in terms of value, more than one-third of these are for renewable power projects, which account for an estimated $2.8 billion in planned project spending.
