Turbine maker Senvion SE has signed three contracts totaling 32.5 MW with three customers for wind farm projects in France.
According to Senvion, the contracts call for the supply and installation of 16 Senvion 2 MW turbines. The installation of the turbines is planned for this fall, and commissioning will take place this winter. Senvion will provide maintenance for the Villacerf and Severac-Guenrouet wind farms for 15 years and the Calmont wind farm for two years.
The Calmont wind farm is being developed by Boralex and will comprise seven Senvion 2.05 MW MM92 turbines at a hub height of 80 meters.
The Villacerf wind farm, located in the region of Champagne-Ardenne, is being developed by Neoen and will consist of five Senvion 2 MW MM100 turbines at a hub height of 80 meters.
Lastly, the Severac-Guenrouet community wind farm is being developed by Isac-Watts. Four Senvion MM92 turbines with a hub height of 100 meters will power the wind farm.
