Senator Visits Danotek In Support Of Wind Energy PTC Extension

Danotek, a developer and manufacturer of permanent magnet generators (PMGs) and power converter systems for the global wind energy market, says that Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., visited the company's office and manufacturing facility for a tour and discussion on how to support Danotek's growth and initiatives as well as a wind power production tax credit (PTC) extension.

‘I want to stress the importance of tax credits in green energy's future in America and the world,’ Levin said. ‘Companies like Danotek can be suppliers in this global effort, and if we don't support them, we are going to lose an awful lot of great jobs in Michigan.’

"Danotek's got some great innovators and good investors, but it also needs some good public support," he added. "That's what we're going to work on in Washington."
