Sempra U.S. Gas & Power has ordered 39 Vestas V110-2.0 MW turbines for its Black Oak Getty wind farm, located in Stearns County, Minn.
According to Vestas, the contract includes the supply and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a five-year service agreement, which supports maximum energy production from the turbines. The Minnesota Municipal Power Agency has agreed to buy all of the output generated by the project for 20 years.

Turbine delivery for the Black Oak Getty wind farm is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2016.
